Eliot Newton

Eliot Newton (they/them) is a genderqueer activist and educator who has been working in the 2SLGBTQ+-inclusion field for ten years. They’ve had the privilege of working with demographics as diverse as kindergarten students up to corporate CEOs. At the Canadian Centre for Gender & Sexual Diversity (CCGSD), Eliot is currently the Project Lead for ‘Not Just the Tip’, a 1.1 million dollar project developing a toolkit for sexual health educators that is intentionally inclusive, intersectional, and inspiring. Eliot has also worked as a clinical educator on behalf of Rainbow Health Ontario, training over one thousand doctors and medical system staff on culturally humble care. Their greatest passions are helping people to understand themselves more complexly and teaching how we can all play more kindly in the sandbox of gender and sexuality. When not doing work as a “professional trans person”, Eliot can usually be found at home with their partner, their two cats, and their latest true crime content.
