Lauren Fehlings (she/her) is an advocate for brain injury awareness with personal experience recovering from a concussion and living with persistent concussion symptoms. Lauren earned her Masters of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. As someone who has navigated the healthcare system as both a provider and a client, she offers a unique perspective on the brain injury experience. Lauren identifies as having a fluctuating invisible disability and is passionate about debunking myths and breaking down barriers to accessing and providing good care for people who need it. You can find Lauren cozying up and listening to an audiobook or podcast, actively recovering, engaging with her community, or on a hike in her hometown of Hamilton with her rambunctious goldendoodle and daughter in tow.
